Project Summary
$220 million, five-story, 570,639 SF, 192-bed expansion to the existing Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children (AIDHC) in Wilmington, Delaware. 听The Nemours Delaware Expansion Project includes a 108,000 SF, 188-car ground-level parking garage below the new addition. The first floor of the building contains a new emergency department, atrium, and retail and dining facilities. The second through fifth floors each contain two wings of 24 inpatient beds. The second floor contains 32 beds of critical care PICU beds and 16 beds of step-down and med-surg beds. 听The new building is joined to the existing facility with a three-story connecting link.

BIM coordination completed prior to 秀色色情片 being awarded the project.听听听
Prefabrication: Patient room headwalls & bathroom pods, MEP racks and nurse workstations were prefabricated offsite. Customized control panels for air-handling equipment and primary & secondary water systems were built in 秀色色情片鈥檚 UL certified panel shop.
秀色色情片鈥檚 value engineering efforts provided solutions that exceeded the customer鈥檚 expectations while decreasing overall project costs.
Patient Monitoring which includes: infant protection, patient wandering protection, Phillips Cardiac Monitoring System, and several positive and negative patient isolation rooms which are controlled to very tight pressure differential levels. All systems installed by 秀色色情片.
秀色色情片鈥檚 Network Infrastructure team installed all data/communication room racking and cable tray systems used to connect equipment and computers. 秀色色情片 furnished and installed over 223 miles of single mode fiber optic cabling connecting 1,706 points, and a CAT6A 10 gigabit copper network which allows for future growth.
Each of the 148 patient rooms were broken down into three pre-manufactured (prefabricated) sections (operator workstation area, medical gas headwall and bathroom pods) and built offsite. 秀色色情片 also built custom control panels for the Building Automation System.
